Whispers of Time

Whispers of Time

In the stillness of the early morn,
Where daylight's first breath is gently born,
A world lies waiting, soft and clear,
The echo of an ancient year.
The winds that hum through silent trees,
The ripples on the quiet seas,
All whisper secrets, old and deep,
That time has kept and time will keep.

The sun ascends with golden glow,
Its light a language we all know.
It paints the sky in hues of gold,
A story of the days of old.
And yet, in shadows, hidden well,
Are stories time would never tell.
The moments lost beneath the tide,
Where memories and dreams collide.

The rivers run with steady grace,
While mountains stand with timeless face.
The earth itself, with soil and stone,
Has borne the weight of all we've known.
But in the heart of every stone,
A whisper calls, soft, yet alone,
Of journeys taken long ago,
In paths where only few may go.

The stars above us, cold and bright,
Have watched the wars, the dreams, the flight.

Each twinkle in the darkened sky
A tear shed by the past gone by.
For all that is, and all that was,
Is trapped within the endless cause,
Of time, the river flowing free,
Where none can stop, and none can flee.

The forests age with grace untold,
Their wisdom in the leaves they fold.
Each branch that sways in whispered breeze

Has felt the touch of centuries.
The creatures roaming, wild and wise,
Have seen the sun both rise and die.
Yet still they move, with quiet might,
A dance beneath the fading light.

The cities rise and cities fall,
Their stories etched within the wall.
The bricks that hold the streets so wide,
Have seen the ebbing of the tide.
The voices of the long-lost years,
Reside in whispers, hopes, and fears.
And in the markets, in the square,
You’ll find the ghosts that linger there.

Oh, time, you cruel and gentle friend,
You shape and break, yet never end.
You lead us forward through the night,
With endless steps and fading light.
Yet in your wake, we leave our mark,
A fleeting flame against the dark.
And though you carry us away,
We live within your endless sway.

For every tear that falls unseen,
For every joy that lies between,
For every heart that's left to bleed,
In time, we plant another seed.
The earth, the sky, the wind, the sea,
Are witnesses to all we’ll be.
And in their depths, our souls do dive,
To live forever, to survive.

Through every storm, through every fight,
Through every wrong, through every right,
We journey on, though lost we seem,
We wake again, and we still dream.
For in the end, what is the cost,
Of all the things we think we’ve lost?
When time itself is but a thread,
That leads us forward, ever led.

The clocks may tick, the hours glide,
The moments slip like shifting tide,
But in the heart, a truth remains,
A knowledge that survives the pains.
For time may change, and time may fade,
But love and light are never swayed.
They echo through the darkest night,
And lead us home with steady light.

So let us walk this path once more,
And open wide the ancient door,
To where the future meets the past,
And all our dreams are held steadfast.
For time will give, and time will take,
But in our hearts, no time can break.
We live beyond its reach and grace,
A fleeting moment in its race.

And when the final hour comes near,
When shadows fall, and none appear,
We'll know that time, though long it flew,
Had led us to the place we knew.
For in the end, we are the same,
As we were born, we leave the flame.
A whisper through the endless sky,
A soul that never says goodbye.
