The Tale of Eldwin the Brave In days of yore, when dragons roamed, And heroes dared to claim their home, There lived a knight of valiant mien, Eldwin, the bold, a man serene. His armor gleamed in morning’s light, A sword of steel, a heart so bright, He rode the winds, he rode the seas, Bound by an oath, sworn on his knees. Upon a hill, his castle stood, A fortress grand, of stone and wood, With banners high and walls so strong, Where tales of heroism belong. Eldwin’s fame spread far and wide, His name was whispered with great pride, In every village, town, and glen, He was a legend among men. But fate, as fickle as it seems, Had twisted paths and shattered dreams. One fateful night, so dark and cold, A shadow came, so dark, so bold.
