The Eternal Tiger
Prologue
Deep in the forest, where the shadows lie,
A tiger prowls beneath the sky.
Golden stripes, a silent roar,
A beast of myth, a tale of lore.
The villagers whisper, hearts in fright,
About the tiger that owns the night.
But within its eyes, a secret burns,
A story of life, as the world turns.
Chapter 1: The Hunter's Call
The hunter came with bow and blade,
Into the jungle’s endless shade.
His aim was sharp, his heart was fierce,
Yet the tiger’s gaze his soul could pierce.
Through tangled vines and twilight’s glare,
They danced in silence, predator’s stare.
The hunter thought, “I’ll claim this beast,
And bring my village a mighty feast.”
But the tiger circled, patient, wise,
A gleam of fire in its golden eyes.
As if to say, “You seek to take,
But from this jungle, none escape.”
Chapter 2: The Villager's Fear
In the village, tales grew wild,
Of the tiger’s wrath, untamed and riled.
“Keep to the paths,” the elders warned,
“For the tiger watches, sharp and scorned.”
A boy named Arun, with a curious mind,
Dreamed of the tiger, its power unconfined.
“Why do we fear what we do not know?
Perhaps the tiger has truths to show.”
One moonlit night, he slipped away,
Into the jungle where shadows play.
With trembling hands and an eager heart,
He sought the tiger, its world to chart.
Chapter 3: The Meeting
In a clearing bathed in silver glow,
The tiger stood, its movements slow.
Arun froze, his breath held tight,
Caught in the creature’s majestic sight.
The tiger spoke, not with a sound,
But in Arun’s mind, its words profound:
“Why do you come, young one, so bold?
Do you seek my stripes, my story untold?”
Arun knelt, his fear displaced,
By awe of the tiger’s mighty grace.
“I seek no harm, only to see,
The truth behind your mystery.”
Chapter 4: The Tiger's Tale
The tiger’s eyes grew soft, then bright,
As it began its tale of night.
“I am the forest, the keeper of time,
The pulse of the earth, the rhythm, the rhyme.
I’ve walked these woods through ages past,
From dawn’s first light to shadows cast.
Men have come, with greed, with fear,
Yet none have understood why I am here.
I am the balance, the wild, the free,
The spirit of life’s untamed decree.
But mankind’s hunger, sharp and wide,
Threatens the forest where I reside.”
Chapter 5: The Hunter's Return
The hunter found the clearing’s glow,
His bowstring taut, his eyes aglow.
But as he aimed, Arun stood tall,
A boy’s small frame defying it all.
“Stop!” Arun cried, his voice so clear,
“This tiger’s tale is what we must hear.
It guards the balance, the life we share,
Destroy it, and nothing will be spared.”
The hunter paused, his heart at war,
The tiger’s gaze shook him to the core.
With a heavy sigh, he dropped his bow,
And let his hardened spirit go.
Chapter 6: A New Beginning
The tiger turned, its task complete,
And melted back on silent feet.
The hunter and boy, side by side,
Walked to the village, no need to hide.
They told the tale of the tiger’s plea,
Of balance, life, and harmony.
The villagers listened, their fear replaced,
By wonder, respect, and a newfound grace.
The jungle thrived, its heartbeat strong,
As man and nature learned to belong.
The tiger roamed, both fierce and free,
A symbol of life’s great mystery.
Epilogue
In the forest deep where shadows blend,
The tiger’s story will never end.
It walks through time, its spirit bright,
A guardian fierce, a flame in the night.
For those who dare to understand,
The tiger offers a guiding hand.
Its roar is silence, its gaze is fire,
A tale of balance, never to tire.
