Diving into the Wreck

 Diving into the Wreck

I descend, a quiet ache in my chest,
A weight that pulls, a longing in the depths.
Through the surface, where the light fades,
Into the dark, where silence invades.

The water cold, the pressure high,
I leave the world above behind,
Into the unknown, I stretch my hand,
To find the truth buried in the sand.

I dive deeper still, where shadows twist,
Where echoes of the past persist.
The wreck lies ahead, half-hidden, half-fallen,
A monument to memories, forgotten, yet calling.

The wreck, a skeleton of dreams once bright,
Now lost beneath the endless night.
What stories lie in the hollowed hull?
What secrets swirl in the depths so full?

I reach out, my fingers graze the stone,
A touch that feels both ancient and alone.
The ship that once sailed with pride and grace,
Now rests in this forgotten place.

The water stirs with ghosts unseen,
Of lives once vibrant, now serene.
The wreck is more than twisted steel,
It holds the dreams we long to feel.

I swim through halls of fractured glass,
Through rooms where time has ceased to pass.
Each piece tells a tale of joy and fear,
Of all that once was, and now appears.

Beneath the weight of water’s might,
The wreck becomes both dark and light.
A place where past and future meet,
Where forgotten lives and memories greet.

I touch the walls, I feel their pain,
The ghosts of sailors lost in the rain.
Their stories echo in the still,
In the silence, where time stands still.

I move deeper, through the rusted door,
Into the belly of this ancient lore.
The wreck is a tomb, a memorial to loss,
A place where we all must pay the cost.

I find myself in the captain’s chair,
The seat of power, now cold and bare.
What was once a kingdom, now a grave,
A place where dreams could not be saved.

The wreck holds more than twisted iron,
It holds the hopes of those who were driven to aspire.
Yet, as I linger in the ship’s embrace,
I realize it’s the journey that leaves its trace.

The wreck is not just made of steel,
It is the life we choose to feel.
The choices we make, the paths we take,
The memories we leave, the bonds we break.

I reach for the wheel, I grasp it tight,
A symbol of all that is lost in the night.
The ship cannot sail, it cannot go,
For the wreck is the end, and the end is slow.

But the wreck is not an end, I see,
It is a place to let the past be free.
To dive into the depths of what we’ve known,
And find in the wreck what we have grown.

The water holds no judgment, no shame,
It is a blank slate, without a name.
The wreck may be broken, but it is not lost,
It is a reminder of all that is tossed.

I rise from the wreck, the ship behind,
A journey completed, a peace to find.
The surface calls, the light is near,
And yet, I know, the wreck is here.

For though I leave the depths behind,
The wreck will always be entwined.
In the fabric of my mind, my soul,
A place where I have found my whole.

The wreck is not the end of the line,
It is the place where we redefine.
The ship may sink, but it does not break,
For it is in the wreck that we wake.

I swim to the surface, the world above,
A quiet peace, a sense of love.
The wreck is gone, but it remains,
A part of me that still sustains.

And as I rise from the depths of the sea,
I carry with me the wreck, so free.
For in the wreck, I have found my truth,
A piece of the past, and a glimpse of youth.

I breathe in the air, I feel the sun,
The journey is over, but it has just begun.
The wreck is not gone, it lives within,
A place where we all begin again.

And so, I dive again, into the deep,
To find the wreck, to find what I seek.
For the wreck is not just a place to drown,
It is a place to rise, to never come down.

In the wreck, I find the strength to be,
To face the storm, to rise and see.
For diving into the wreck is not defeat,
It is the place where we find our feet.

So, I dive once more, not to escape,
But to find the wreck, to reshape.
For in the wreck, we are made whole,
And in the wreck, we find our soul.
