The Heart of the Earth
The Heart of the Earth
Beneath the sky, so vast and wide,
Where winds like restless rivers glide,
There lies a pulse, a beat, a sound,
The heart of Earth, where life is found.
It echoes deep within the soil,
Where roots in quiet shadows toil,
And every stone, each grain of dust,
Bears witness to a world unjust.
Yet still, in silence, life will grow,
From cracked earth, from ice and snow,
A flower blooms, a tree takes root,
And from the rock, the vine will shoot.
The heart of Earth, it knows no rest,
It beats within both east and west,
In oceans wide, in forests deep,
In mountains where the shadows sleep.
The rivers sing with steady grace,
Their waters carving out the space,
Through valleys rich, through deserts dry,
Where winds may soar and birds may fly.
The Earth herself, with outstretched hands,
Embraces all with soft commands,
Each creature, great and small, she calls,
And answers with her boundless thralls.
Yet man, with pride, walks far from ground,
His heart not feeling, but so wound
In dreams of steel and skies of grey,
He turns his face from nature’s way.
The Earth, once full of life and song,
Now hears the cries of right and wrong,
As cities rise, and forests fall,
And Earth is left to bear it all.
But still, within her deepened core,
The heartbeat echoes evermore.
She whispers softly in the breeze,
And rustles through the ancient trees.
Her oceans rise, her mountains quake,
A silent plea, a cry to wake.
For though we take, and though we steal,
The heart of Earth shall never kneel.
For Earth has known both joy and pain,
Her seasons change, yet still remain.
In spring, she wakes with colors bright,
A tapestry of pure delight.
In summer, warmth upon her skin,
The sun that makes the flowers spin.
In autumn, leaves of gold descend,
A whisper of a coming end.
And winter comes with soft embrace,
A quiet, cold, yet loving face.
Each season is a breath, a beat,
A rhythm strong beneath our feet.
Through every storm, through every calm,
The Earth remains, a healing balm.
Her heart, though scarred by man’s own hand,
Still beats within this sacred land.
Yet we must learn to listen close,
To hear the whispers, soft as prose.
For in the silence, truth does lie,
Beneath the earth, beneath the sky.
The Earth will speak, if we but pause,
And listen to her ancient laws.
For though we hurt, though we may fall,
The Earth will answer, one and all.
She speaks in tones both loud and clear,
In winds that howl and storms that rear.
In every crack, in every tree,
In oceans deep, in endless sea.
The Earth will tell us of her pain,
Of all the things we stand to gain.
But only if we choose to hear,
To listen close, and draw her near.
For in her heart, there lies a truth,
A lesson learned from ancient youth,
That we, as stewards, must protect,
The sacred land we so neglect.
The Earth will give, but she will take,
Her patience wears, for heaven's sake.
She'll teach us all, if we but stay,
To hear the truth she has to say.
Yet still, we take, and still we burn,
The world, it seems, will never learn.
But in the soil, beneath the stone,
The Earth will thrive, though we have flown.
For life will rise, though we may fall,
The Earth will stand, she’ll answer all.
For in her heart, she knows the way,
To heal, to love, to light the day.
So let us walk with gentle feet,
Upon the Earth, her rhythm meet.
Let every step be kind and true,
And all we take, we give in due.
For in the end, we’re not alone,
The Earth, our mother, calls us home.
Her heart, it beats with love and grace,
A pulse that time cannot erase.
And when the final day is done,
When all the battles have been won,
We’ll look upon the sky so wide,
And feel the Earth’s heart beating inside.
For in her core, we find our place,
A truth that time cannot efface.
The Earth, she lives, she loves, she dies,
A cycle endless, beneath the skies.
Her heartbeat calls, her pulse is true,
And in her arms, we’re born anew.
For we are one, both her and we,
Bound together, eternally.
The heart of Earth, it beats for all,
For every rise and every fall.
And as we walk, we’ll always find,
Her pulse, her rhythm, intertwined.
