Aeloria and the Silver Moon: A Cursed Love Story"
The Story of Aeloria and the Silver Moon
In a land of mist, where the mountains rise,
And the sun meets the earth with a crimson sigh,
There lived a maiden, gentle and fair,
With eyes that sparkled, like stars in the air.
Her name was Aeloria, a name full of grace,
A heart of pure love, and a radiant face.
She dwelt in the valley, by rivers so wide,
Where the winds whispered secrets, and time seemed to glide.
Aeloria's voice was a song of the breeze,
Carrying whispers through the ancient trees.
The creatures would gather when she'd sing,
And flowers would bloom with the touch of her wing.
But there was a sorrow deep in her soul,
A longing, unspoken, that never grew old.
For deep in the night, when the moonlight was pure,
She dreamt of a love she could not be sure.
Every night, under the pale silver glow,
She would walk to the hill where the wild winds blow.
There, she'd stand and look to the sky,
With a tear in her eye, she'd whisper a sigh.
"My love," she'd murmur, "Where are you now?
The one who was lost, who swore the vow.
The promise you made, the bond you swore,
Has vanished like mist, forevermore."
For many years, Aeloria had waited,
Her heart, once hopeful, now feeling jaded.
The one she had loved, a prince so kind,
Had been taken from her, fate so unkind.
He had gone to war, to defend the land,
Aeloria had given him a golden band.
"Come back to me," she begged and prayed,
But the winds carried no answer, and the skies stayed grey.
The villagers spoke of the prince’s great fight,
How he had battled with all of his might.
But rumors grew wild, and whispers grew loud,
That he had fallen beneath a dark cloud.
Aeloria's heart shattered with grief,
Her soul aching, seeking relief.
Each night, she’d stand by the silver moon,
Hoping, praying, that he'd return soon.
One fateful eve, as the stars took their place,
Aeloria walked to the hill with a slow pace.
The silver moon shone brighter than before,
And something stirred deep within her core.
At the peak of the hill, she stopped and stared,
And there before her, the air seemed to tear.
A figure appeared, cloaked in the night,
With eyes that shone with an otherworldly light.
It was him, her prince, returned from the dead,
The one she had mourned, the one she had bled.
But he was different, no longer the same,
His eyes had lost their warmth, his heart, a flame.
"Aeloria," he whispered, his voice a soft sigh,
"I've come back to you, though I know not why.
The war has ended, but I have no peace,
For the curse of the moon will never cease."
Aeloria's heart was filled with joy,
But a fear deep within began to destroy.
"Why are you changed, my love, my dear?"
The prince sighed and wiped away a tear.
"Long ago, I was cursed by a sorcerer's spell,
To wander the earth, to live in hell.
The war I fought was not the only fight,
For my soul was bound to the silver light."
Aeloria's eyes filled with pain and sorrow,
For the love she'd lost, and the broken tomorrow.
"But I love you still, my heart is true,
How can this curse keep me from you?"
The prince reached out and touched her face,
His hand cold as ice, yet filled with grace.
"True love is powerful, but even it must bend,
For the curse I bear shall never end."
Aeloria stepped back, her heart torn in two,
The love she had longed for, now tainted with blue.
"I cannot live without you, my dear,"
She whispered softly, "Please come near."
But the prince shook his head, his eyes now dark,
"I am not the man you once knew, my heart.
I walk in shadows, bound to the night,
A prisoner to the silver moon's light."
"I cannot bear to see you in pain,
But our love can never be the same.
I am bound to the moon, to its endless glow,
And from this curse, I can never go."
Aeloria’s tears fell like the rain,
Her love for him, a deep, unbroken chain.
"I will not leave you, no matter the cost,
For your heart is mine, no matter the loss."
And so, she took his cold, weary hand,
And together, they stood on the moonlit land.
The curse was strong, but love was stronger,
And through the years, they would suffer longer.
For though the prince could never be free,
Aeloria loved him, endlessly.
She would stand by his side, through thick and thin,
Until the silver moon would fade within.
Years passed, and the seasons changed,
But the prince's curse had not been rearranged.
Aeloria and he lived by the moon’s light,
Forever bound, in the endless night.
The villagers whispered of the maiden so fair,
Who loved a prince, bound in despair.
They would say that love could conquer all,
But sometimes even love must fall.
And so, the tale of Aeloria and her prince,
Is told in the winds, where the moonlight thins.
A story of love, of loss, and of fate,
Of how sometimes hearts must wait.
For though the moon may rise and fall,
True love will endure, through it all.
And Aeloria’s heart, though filled with sorrow,
Will shine like the stars, forever tomorrow.
